Coming off like Germany's answer to Bad Religion on Viva St. Pauli, language barriers do little to clear up Rubberslime's political stance, but DJ Celtic, Dynamike, John, Elf, and Minne sure sound pissed off about the status quo as they brew up the tenacious guitar anthem "Song 1." Pummel-drumming and shout-along choruses are the spine of this EP, spilling over into the hard-fast-rules tact of "Shicksalsspiel." Meanwhile, The somber feel of "V.S.P." rounds out the disc with an acoustic beer hall approach that gives a nod to classic New Model Army while exhibiting Rubberslime's musical reach.
