After the aggressive and successful Kolmikärki, CMX had fine expectations for their next album. And they surely met them because Veljeskunta might be the most exceptional album in its genre. Instead of overflowing aggression, CMX concentrates on awesome guitar riffs and beautiful lyrics. While CMX's soul mate YUP has made its songs more complex and richer, CMX's songs on Veljeskunta are more polished, simpler, and, therefore, can almost be described as pop songs. Veljeskunta is CMX's new definition for punk music, and not a bad one really.
