They tell you nothing about themselves on the plain, typed sleeve. No bandmembers are mentioned, let alone what they played. There's just recording information and studio personnel (and a long list of thank yous!). The song titles only appear on the inlay card, in a different order than they play on the CD, with pencil marks after each one indicating this. (Or else how would you know? No one sings on these nine songs!) Even the band name is on a folding card that falls off the plain, see-through jewel box once the shrink-wrap is removed! Who are these guys? The statement is obvious: these green-thumb types' curious, strange instrumentals say all they wish, with repeated passages of spare, harsh sounds. Some "songs" are coldly technological patterns, others hums and drones, still others vacuum-cleaner post-punk and buzzing, distorted riffs. Crazy sh*t for sure. Why? Why not?
