Lou Christie was not a one-hit wonder, but when most people think of him, they think of "Lightnin' Strikes," which makes Collectables' Two Faces Have I a mystifying release. It is a ten-track budget disc that doesn't include "Lightnin' Strikes." It also doesn't contain his two other Top 20 hits, "Rhapsody in the Rain" and "I'm Gonna Make You Mine." It does have "Two Faces Have I" (a number six hit), other singles "Outside the Gates of Heaven" and "How Many Teardrops," and some great tracks like "The Gypsy Cried" and "Have I Sinned." It is all wonderful and strange music that all lovers of '60s pop should have at least one collection of. Instead of skimping on the deficient collection, drop an extra three or four dollars and get Rhino's Enlightnin'ment: The Best of Lou Christie instead. This is just a totally random and useless collection.
