The Thomas Tedesco featured on this LP is a different guitarist than the Tommy Tedesco who was a top studio guitarist during the same period. This particular Tedesco is a lyrical but adventurous player, who is featured on this album with trumpeter Bobby Bradford, bassist Roberto Miranda, drummer Sherman Ferguson and percussionist Sartuse. Tedesco contributed all four selections performed by the quintet, including an attempt at using a light disco rhythm creatively ("Number 26 -- Free Disco"), a freebop "The Azzier the Izz" and the episodic "Morning Tide." Intriguing and generally colorful music.
