There Are Too Many Fools Following Too Many Rules Review

by Keith Farley

This two-disc set is the first compilation from Britain's mysterious Irdial Records, home of understated and mostly unpublicized techno subterfuge from Neuropolitique, Anthony Manning, Luke Slater's Morganistic and Thee J. Johanz, among many others. Without a doubt, it's overlong considering Irdial's scattered release schedule, though tracks like Aqua Regia's "Pump Up the L.E.D.'s to Red, Take Some Drugs and Shake Your Head" are amusing.
