AllMusic Review by Scott Yanow

The second of five LPs released by Hindsight that contain performances cut for radio airplay by the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra is more jazz-oriented than his usual recordings. Helen O'Connell has a pair of vocals but there are also hot versions of "Just You, Just Me," "I Got Rhythm," "I Would Do Anything for You" and the boppish "Grand Central Getaway" which was composed and arranged by Dizzy Gillespie himself. Such players as pianist Johnny Guarnieri, trumpeter Ray Linn and tenorman Babe Russin are heard from during this fine overview of Dorsey's wartime orchestra.
