AllMusic Review by

This collection covers the most obvious bases as a survey of western songs, including the Sons of the Pioneers' version of "I'm an Old Cowhand (From the Rio Grande)," and Autry's "Back In the Saddle Again" (in a later version than the original), Marty Robbins' "Big Iron," Tennessee Ernie Ford's "Mule Train," Tex Ritter's "High Noon," and Roy Rogers' and Dale Evans' "Happy Trails." None of this is rare, but it is a good-sounding start for anyone trying to get the most familiar classics in the genre all in one place.
