One of the weirder psychedelic/garage reissues, this nine-song, ten-inch flexi was packaged in a sleeve that clasped shut like a photo envelope. Most of the music is minor-keyed psychedelia with a vaguely disturbed, demented aura. It isn't bad, but the best cuts -- the Rising Storm's "Frozen Laughter," and the Painted Faces' "I Lost You in My Mind," and the Unrelated Segments' "Cry Cry Cry" -- are easier to find on other reissues. Of the rest, the highlight is Kenny & His Friends' creepy adaptation of "The Raven" poem into a haunting punk screamer with eternally ascending key changes.
