Like almost all Liberty artists, Richard Marino is not known for greatness. And Liberty's ostensible audiophile series does little to improve upon its regular line, unless one counts die-cut gatefold packaging. Nevertheless, Marino has turned out an above-average pop percussion album. The entire first side is strong, from stalwarts such as "Fever" and "Lover" to the dubiously titled standout "Rots-O-Ruck." "Bagdad Express" on side two is the best pick, however.
