AllMusic Review by

After the triumphant and critically acclaimed debut Asfafa, England's Robert Fox has returned with another stellar album, The Fire and the Rose. Fox breathes life into his synthesizer to give rise to emotionally charged and spiritually uplifting sound poems which penetrate to the center of one's soul. Based on the theme of T.S. Eliot's book, The Four Quartets, Fox paints with grand symphonic chords, dynamic percussion and tubular bell tones which give one the exalted feeling of ascending in a space cathedral.
