The seventh of nine Glenn Miller two-LP sets released by Bluebird during the 1975-80 period has all of the music recorded by the popular bandleader during a six-month period in 1941, 32 selections in all. Highlights include "It Happened in Sun Valley," "Elmer's Tune" and "A String of Pearls." Although this series (or its replacement, a 13-CD box set) is not essential for more general swing collectors, Glenn Miller completists will want this perfectly done series.
