Coming just one year after the release of the superior Greatest Hits: 30 Years of Rock, George Thorogood's entry in Capitol's 10 Best Series seems even more irrelevant than almost all the other entries. Sure it has the hard-rockin' bar band vet's biggest hit "Bad to the Bone" and other hits like "Get a Haircut" and "Willie and the Hand Jive," but a list of songs it doesn't have (or has only as live versions) dwarfs the existing track list. "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer," "Move It on Over," "I Drink Alone," "You Talk Too Much," "Gearjammer," the studio version of "Who Do You Love?" If you want a Thorogood collection, it needs to have these songs on it. Simple as that. This one doesn't and because of that, it isn't worth your time or money.
