The Outcasts have only one side of this LP, side two presenting live songs by another Long Island, NY mid-'60s garage band, the Sting Rays. All six of the Outcasts tracks are raw, derivative covers of hits like "Louie Louie" and "You Really Got Me." Even in the context of '60s garage collecting, this is absolutely uninteresting, even disposable stuff, saved from the lowest rating only by the fact that the Sting Rays material on the other side is much better. If you really need to hear the sound of a garage band imitating mid-'60s hits, it's just as effective (and far more fun) to form a band yourself.
