Following two independently released mixtapes (Artist and The Takeover, Vol. 1 with Don Q), Bronx-based MC A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie scored a breakout hit with the swaggering, AutoTune-laced "My Shit," and opened for Drake and Future in New York during their summer 2016 tour. After signing with Atlantic and gaining major distribution for his earlier tracks, he dropped a six-song EP of new material titled TBA (The Bigger Artist) in October. The EP continues the funky trap style of his previous releases, dipping into slow jam territory with the sensuous "Baecation."
