Crescendoes of vaguely sinister guitar riffs, anchored by insistent rhythms, characterize this collection of ten instrumentals. It's a good option for those who worship at the church of the post-modern guitar, but it could use more variety and melodic ideas. Too often it locks into monotony, though the more intricate pieces show the musicians capable of working spy guitar riffs and psychedelic melodies into their sheets of sound.
