Roena, with the demise of his original Apollo Sound, continues with a similar concept in his final Fania album as a bandleader; Adalberto Santiago's rich voice is put to the ultimate test in great material like "Vigilándote," "Sabroso," and "Campanera." As the early '80s begin, salsa shows signs of wear and tear, commercially speaking. Products like this were taken for granted. Nevertheless, there is never a stone unturned for the search of new ideas, as peerless Roena and associates have always demonstrated.
