Cheryl Gunn's 1999 album Sun at Midnight features more of her vibrant, graceful keyboard playing and intuitive melodies. Her collaborator and husband, Nicholas Gunn, also appears on several tracks and adds to the album's jazzy, mystical air. Pieces like "Temple Cat" and "Echo of Time" have a reflective, atmospheric touch that blends the best of smooth jazz and new age.
