Jose "El Canario" Alberto's first RMM release helped to usher in a new salsa vision for the label, which was something of a necessity. Although the new trend focuses strictly on the romantic content of salsa, experienced vocalists like the Dominican singer maintain a swinging quality reminiscent of the always important traditional days. As Sueno Contigo proves, this is a great model to follow; the highlights are "Hoy Quiero Confesar," "Y Yo Adorándote," "Quiero Ser Mi Amante," "A Gozar," and "Es Tu Amor." The beginning of an enduring career.
