The Lower East Side avant garde-industrialists made their major label debut with this four-track EP in 1992. It's as if they can sense the majors panic-buying in the wake of Nirvana - alongside the Jesus Lizard, they are certainly the most unlikely bunch ever to take their seats on the back of the major label gravy train. On the title-track, they show how their heads have not been turned - indeed, the predictions of their own mortality are as chilling as they are funny ("We'll be history by 34/There's always the reunion tour ..."). You've got to love a band with such a shrewd sense of perspective.
