Quite what you'd expect from a name like Minimalstix: calm but loud drums shift about inside an epidermis of aquatic sleigh bells, unexpectedly approximating what it would sound like to be inside Darren Emerson's head in the morning. Or at least something that would need a serious facelift to become a floor-filler. The middle remix especially is not unlike an Underworld slow digression, increasing its layers of rhythms, threatening to explode, but never going so far as to watch the fuse burn completely.
