Owen (Mike Kinsella) and Into It. Over It. (Evan Thomas Weiss), both members of math rock's Their/They're/There, released this four-song Split EP in the summer of 2015. Among the selections are two covers of each other's songs: Owen does an uptempo punky version of the tender, acoustic "Anchor" by Into It. Over It., who faithfully captures the tone of Owen's "Poor Souls" from 2002's No Good for No One Now. The two original tracks are Owen's melodically sweet, lyrically consternated serenade "Poison Arrows" and Into It. Over It.'s clattering, frustrated, and melodically sharp "Local Language."
