AllMusic Review by

Issued in advance of the then-forthcoming Harmacy record, this "special elitist mail-order only single" (pressed on lovely jade-marble vinyl to ensure a truly orgasmic reaction among collectors) is something of a f*ck-you to Sebadoh fans; its contents were unannounced at the time of sale, and when it arrived, it contained not the anticipated new Lou Barlow material, but Jason Loewenstein's album track "Princess," his non-LP "1/2 Undressed," and three Residents covers ("The Art of Being Polite," "Moisture," and "Suburban Bathers," respectively). Thing is, it's in some ways Loewenstein's finest hour -- the Residents covers are just crazy enough to work, and "Princess" (aka "Prince-S") is a gem, finally validating all that screaming Nick Nolte did about him in The Prince of Tides.
