AllMusic Review by

Along with 12" mixes and versions of major pop hits like Billy Idol's "Eyes Without a Face," a-ha's "The Sun Always Shines on T.V.," Culture Club's "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me," and INXS' "Need You Tonight," Blank & Jones select (and mix) a handful of alternative cuts for the third volume of their So80s series. Songs from the Cure ("Let's Go to Bed"), Killing Joke ("Love Like Blood"), and Savage Progress ("My Soul Unwraps Tonight") might seem like odd bedfellows for the mainstream stuff, but they all fit into the duo's indiscriminate aesthetic. As with the first two volumes, the CD edition contains a DJ mix and two discs of the tracks in unmixed form. The digital download version consists of only the unmixed tracks.
