Ironically, Anthony Pappa gained some of the strongest exposure in his career under the Freefall name. But that didn't stop labels like Renaissance and Superfly from embracing it like a Gouryella lamb in the snow. "Skydive" is the type of crossover-welcoming trance song that sneaks in the slightly fuzzy breaks for the home-stereo cynics and then goes ahead and disgraces itself with squid-squeaky production, the ubiquitous soppy female vocal (this time by Jan Johnston, but it could be anybody really), and just legions of equally dismissive reworkings. A 2001 Incentive CD maxi-single re-release featured more remixes from a reinvigorated Warrior and the confusingly named John Johnson, but they didn't help much.
