AllMusic Review by

Sky: Harmonic Singing in a Water Tower is the second release from Jim Cole & Spectral Voices. It is, presumably, the same water as they used for the first album. When this ensemble gathers, they create billowing atmospheres from total improvisation. They just react to each other and allow the natural echo of the tower -- up to 30 seconds -- to assist with the harmonies. The music, while it certainly sounds electronic, is totally angelic. This has to be how angels sound. This talent is a gift from God and it speaks to the soul. It is a great sound and a spiritual experience. This disc will appeal to fans of Xumantra, Anugama, Klaus Wiese, and Jonathan Goldman.
