In the collection The Hub. This piece "comes in two flavors" according to the composer, for solo performer or for live computer music network (notably for the group HUB who created live micro-computer music network performance). In the version for several performers basic sound which electronically simulates a plucked string is then broadcast to other performers who use it for the amplitude modulation (loudness, softness, attacks, quick and slower rhythms) of their own pitches and timbres. The result is like some multi-dimensional cosmic string instrument with deep roars, huge waves, glassy and metallic shimmerings.
