This 2010 Vasco Rossi collection covers pretty much the same ground as 2006's Tutto Vasco: the eight studio albums the singer made for BMG/Ricordi between his 1979 debut and 1987. Likewise, it cannot be considered a definitive anthology since it does not include any of the hits Rossi continued to produce regularly after 1987. Sensazioni Rock adds a third disc to Tutto Vasco's two, but only seven more tracks, among these a rare live duet with Stadio, "La Faccia delle Donne." While some albums such as ...Ma Cosa Vuoi Che Sia una Canzone and Colpa d'Alfredo are included here almost in their entirety, others such as C'e' Chi Dice No and Cosa Succede in Città are only represented by a couple of tracks each. At any rate, this extensive sampler from what is unquestionably Rossi's finest period contains all of his early, unassailable classics, such as "Albachiara," "Vita Spericolata," and "Siamo Solo Noi."
