AllMusic Review by

Motor City rock & roll directly descended from the blueprint of the MC5 and the Stooges is what steers the ride on this six-song mini-album. Recorded in Detroit, Rocket 455's message, as obscured by Mark Walz's buried vocals as it is, still comes through loud and clear on tunes like "Dogmeat," "Johnny Lawless," the Bo Diddley slop of "Motor Oil," and "Sister Fuchsia June." Jeff Meier and Marco Delicato's guitar grind and feed back in defiant authority (particularly effective on "Queen Cobra" and "Gleason Rocket"), and the rhythm section of bassist Tom Lynch and drummer Chris Fachini keeps it pinned down with a groove that's straight from the Detroit rock & roll textbook.
