Sacred Music from Seven Stars is the second Pleiades-themed album for the classically trained Gerald Jay Markoe, who has a special affinity for Baroque music. The album is enchanting, with sounds that resemble sparkling stars, wind chimes, celestial music boxes, and forests of crystalline songbirds. Harp, oboe, sonorous cello, and orchestral strings seem to well supernaturally from Markoe's many synthesizers, mixing the enduring grace of Baroque style and structure with the magic of stardust. One melody dominates the album, but that is a winner worthy of many variations.
