Sacred Ceremonies Volume 2: Tantric Hymns of Tibetan Buddhism is another set of spiritual reverence from The Monks of the Dip Tse Chok Ling Monastery in Dharamsala, India. In this monastery, in forced refuge from Tibet, the monks are free to practice the rituals of their ancient religion. David Parsons and Kay Parsons, his wife, recorded this album, straight to D.A.T. in "about two hours." the liner notes, by noted author and music reviewer, Linda Kohanov, provide great detail and insight. The music is awesome. It has everything that makes a great CD -- spirituality, new sounds, sonic integrity and atmospheric dynamics. The new sounds border on dissonance as an added treat. There are similarities to Philip Glass and John Cage. This special CD will appeal to fans of Nawang Khechog, Jonathan Goldman, Glass and Cage.
