AllMusic Review by

The second Mikkel Metal release on Kompakt makes it somewhat apparent that the Copenhagen-based producer is reserving his more aggressive material -- which stands in significant contrast to his more cerebral, contemplative, work on Echocord -- for release on the Cologne label. Released less than half-a-year after the Testan 12," neither of the two tracks here top that release's B-side, but it's still worthy of being sought out. "Rujon" works a hypnotizing shuffle rhythm accentuated by understated keyboard stabs and stunted bursts of dub effects. "Nepal" is more relaxed in nature, taking on somber tones while being carried forth on an up-tempo rhythm.
