The fourth volume of Ben Bagley's series of Rodgers and Hart rarities, recorded in the same sessions as the third, is frequently given over to medleys, presenting trios of songs from the musicals Heads Up, I Married an Angel, and I'd Rather Be Right, as well as the gimmicky "Grand Finale," arunning nearly eight minutes, which features fragments of numerous R&H standards, actually a violation of the Revisited concept. As such, there are fewer discoveries to be made among the selections, though "I Love You More Than Yesterday," an interpolated song from 1929's Lady Fingers sung by Lynn Redgrave, and "I'm Talking To My Pal," cut from 1940's Pal Joey, sung by Anthony Perkins, are notable. The Vol. III cast, which also includes Blossom Dearie, is happily augmented by Broadway veteran Elaine Stritch on one song.
