The Vindictives were long over due before the release of the EP. It's just nice to see them finally release a record without one cover song to be found. With this being their debut on Lookout! Records, the Vindictives continue their rein of being Chicago's most neurotic punk band. "Rocks in My Head" is the ultimate soundtrack for everyone who felt as if they were losing their marbles at one point. And with their trademark ultra-snotty, about-to-go-postal attitude, these guys can release the aggressions out of anyone's day at the rat races. The lyrics also add to the essentials of making this record worthwhile. The title track has singer Joey Vindictive talk about how he wished that he could have ended up as an abortion rather than having to struggle with day to day life. Then there's "Another Bad Day," which offers the solution to one leading toward a mental breakdown by just sitting around and listening to the Mr. T Experience. With that combo, one just can't go wrong with this record.
