It wouldn't be any surprise if Gilroy were actually Heavenly under a different name, at least the softly sung vocals sound almost identical to Amelia Fletcher's. Renaissance Girl essentially sounds like the earlier works of the aforementioned poppers: punky but gentle guitar leads, lighthearted female vocals, and overall bouncy appeal. In other words, this is great; very spunky and playful. For all those who want to eat up the entire Heavenly/Taluah Gosh/Marine Research discography, this is the next best thing.
