AllMusic Review by

Trombonist Bill Watrous is accompanied by a rhythm section, three trumpets and strings arranged by Patrick Williams on this obscure CD. The material is melodic but generally somewhat forgettable and Watrous' decision to sing a bit is a mistake since he only has an average voice; his whistling however is outstanding. But overall this date (which is at its best during "Connamon And Clove," "Li'l Darlin'" and Michael Camilo's "Why Not") is merely average for the masterful trombonist.
