AllMusic Review by

There are some very interesting and rare performances on this LP. This music was originally recorded for radio airplay and includes a program by Red Nichols in 1930, a set by Ray Miller that features cornetist Muggsy Spanier and numbers by The Coon-Sanders Orchestra, Benny Goodman (in 1939), Hal Kemp and Mitchell Ayers. Nothing all that essential occurs but fans of the era will find this music worth searching for.
