Telecast retooled its lineup for this third disc, released three years after 2005's Eternity Is Now. Few changes in the sound, however, kept the disc from propelling itself very far outside the Brit-pop orbit occupied by the band's previous efforts. As such, the songs are pleasant and well-meaning yet ultimately lacking in depth. Lead man Josh White's tenacity should be noted; his first major-label recording contract came over a decade previously. And yet, none of the 12 tracks here are worth more than a blip on the radar. A bit too generic for the tastes of fans who are seeking more than run of the mill congregational hymns.
