While Caféïne's Francophone debut was well-received in Quebec, it barely made a dent in the rest of Canada. The second release is aimed at a wider audience, with most of the lyrics in English this time out. The title of the album is a good indication of the content: Pornstar is loud and lewd, and full of swagger. While it's clear that much of the material draws heavily on the Stooges, there's also a good dose of new wave, surf, and plain old rock & roll. It's not very deep, but it's a lot of fun.
