AllMusic Review by

Zepparella takes stoner rock right back to its logical conclusion, the Led Zeppelin songs themselves. The cover band alter-egos of NYC’s blistering all-female rock troupe, Bottom, Zepparella reverently (and thrillingly) offers a distaff take on an intriguing selection of Zep tunes. While on the live A PLEASING POUNDING they open (and fittingly so) on the familiar opening riff of “Immigrant Song,” the rest of the record mixes the well-worn (“Dazed and Confused”) with original picks like “Custard Pie.” The result is disarming, mesmerizing, and, well, rocking.
