In the wake of the brilliant Elefish Jellyphant by the American band Lifehuman, Pic de Pollution, the first album by the French band UHT, is of the groovy kind. There are three musicians on this opus: DJ Click playing with machines and samplers, K Mille and his double bass, and Niño Korta scratching on vinyl for their instrumental electronic jazz. And even if in their formation the band is reminiscent once again of Lifehuman (the same threesome), UHT's tracks are less based on experimentations and centered around longer, groovier pieces. Between a soundtrack atmosphere with jazz influences and electronic music; a rich intelligent hybrid music.
