AllMusic Review by

By the 1950s, ragtime was nearly extinct except as its more commercial offshoot "honky tonk." However this valuable Herwin LP has some of the better ragtime performances from the era (particularly the selections by Marvin Ash, Ralph Sutton, Paul Lingle, Ray Turner and Armand Hug) along with some lesser items. Most of this material is quite rare but, alas, so is this LP.
