AllMusic Review by

Pianist Cliff Jackson recorded relatively little during his career -- not at all as a leader in the 1950s and just seven dates in the 1960s before his death in 1970. His last full-length LP, this solo set, which has two spirited vocals by producer Johnson "Fat Cat" McRee, features the superior stride pianist still in prime form. The highlights of the obscure album include "Old Fashioned Love," "After You've Gone," "Keep Off the Grass," "Everybody Loves My Baby" and "Carolina Shout."
