AllMusic Review by

The first 12 years in the existence of this now-highly popular band offered only four albums. Most of the time they were backing up the Fania label's star singers, like Ismael Miranda, Celia Cruz, Santos Colón, and the like. Nevertheless, the band managed to secure their own path in the realm of durability, thanks greatly to bandleader Luisito Ayala's stern leadership. This Bronco effort managed to be quite ignored in its time; however, it is not devoid of good moments. "Retrátame," "Que Paso Con Nuestro Amor," "Bésame Morenita," "Empújalo," "Mi Guajira Con Tumbao," and "Que Me Importa" are quite satisfying. This includes vocals by longtime Orquesta Puerto Rican Power vocalist Pedro Sanz. The band is showing progress.
