The Others, formed at Hampton Grammar School in Middlesex in the mid-'60s. Their "Oh Yeah," written by Bo Diddley but a U.S. hit for the Shadows of Knight, became a minor R&B classic in the States, although it made little commercial impact and is now rare and sought-after. You can also hear it on the Maximum R'n'B CD, English Freakbeat, Vol. 4, and Twisted Teenage Screaming Fuzzbust. The band also recorded an acetic version of "Little Deuce Coupe" in 1966. They later became Sand. Brian May (of Queen) was also in this band but not on the 45.
