There's more to cumbia than accordions. Lisandro Meza is, of course, the king of vallenato. Alfredo Gutierrez is a younger but also excellent accordionist, and Romero has a good line in brass-and-sax salsa-cumbia (one cut has classic Puerto-Rican-plena-style chorus). Gutierrez does a batty yodelling number at one point, a clarinet duo is also among those present, and in general the usual amiable lunacy reigns.
