AllMusic Review by

The "house band" at Kenya's Nairobi Chapel, Tangaza performs traditional church classics, modern Western worship "hits," and songs in their native Swahili. It is with the indigenous selections that this band shines; "Upendo Wa Mungu," "Sifuni Bwana," and "Cha Kutumaini" with their mainly African rhythms, melodies, and harmonies are far more interesting than their pop and CCM counterparts. Unfortunately, of the 14 tracks on this album, only five fall into this favorable category, thus diminishing this recording from a potentially strong effort to a merely mediocre one.
