AllMusic Review by

This obscure French import LP from the 1960s has a variety of rare and rather early jazz performances. Such bands as Charles A. Matson's Creole Serenaders, Bernie Young's Creole Jazz Band, Sammy Stewart's Ten Knights of Syncopation, Wade's Moulin Rouge Orchestra and Perry Bradford's Jazz Phools are featured and although much of the music is primitively recorded, it does have its strong moments. Still, this hard-to-find LP is only for specialized tastes.
