Trance Groove's Musique Legere builds on the fusion of world, jazz, and electronica elements that they introduced on their debut album Paramount. Songs like "Strange Guardien" juxtapose noir-ish trumpet lines against trip-hop and jungle-inspired beats and synthesizers, while "Paramount Godzilla" concentrates on the more abstract, electronic side of their sound. The electro-influenced "Blaine's Wedding" and the self-explanatory "Mental Moments in Dub" are among the other highlights on this eclectic set.
