One of the better of the host of low-priced reissues of Hank Williams' works, Move It on Over is necessarily limited to the first two years of Williams' work (due to copyright restrictions), but this simply serves to put a greater focus on this material. Not a hits collection per se, but it does act as a great primer for someone wanting to get their first taste of Williams' considerable talent. It's also useful for fans who have all the most famous songs and want to delve a little deeper into the artist's history, as many of the songs here, especially "On the Banks of the Old Pontchartrain" and the magisterial "A Mansion on the Hill" are veritable classics.
